And that, dear, is made of awesome cool.gif

Of course, the more humorous thing about the poster is not so much is the content but rather the size of the poster - it's taken up a huge amount of said closet door.

I like the poster though.

Haha! I saw that poster yesterday... it was quite... interesting. Who would have thought that they'd choose Riza to dress that way!

And a big YES to a side story on the military training!!! That part sounded so awesome, but we only saw a tiny bit of Grumman overseeing the training during that section... nothing with the actual training. It probably would have taken up unnecessary space in the manga, but I really wish we could see some more military interaction like that, where the different regions come together to train...

Why don't you ask the tech support on the forum? smile.gif

@hand-made-city: I hope you can get the technical difficulties that you are experiencing fixed.

That halloween image really surprised me. I was not expecting Riza to be wearing something like that at all. Those magazine posters are really just fanservice.

@Kale Where did you buy the magazine that had the halloweeen poster? I cannot find any anime magazines anymore and that bothers me.

OT: Kinokuniya Bookstore in San Francisco.

I pretty much get all my magazines and manga (both the Viz ones and the GC - GanGan Comic ones) from them. I also recently picked up the FMA Brotherhood Guidebook from there too and it's where I got the Character Guide as well.

But the nice thing about that issue of Animedia, there was also a sticker set in the issue - one of which was the image from the poster. tongue.gif

Kale--Best. Store. Ever! We have one up here in Seattle, too. Too bad I don't get to go there often.

That poster kinda scares me. Blatant fanservice much?

Also, I bought vol. 20 yesterday. No really big "moment" to speak of, but there is that one bit where they're passing the message along and Roy's behind the curtain in the hospital room. That's another one I've been meaning to write a fanfic about. I think Riza knows, or at least has a pretty good idea, especially if the hospital were to keep some sort of visitor log.

jacksparrow - she knew, there's no doubt sbout it. Even Havoc noticed it! Maybe her sniper training? I suppose as a soldier you have to tell a difference between a occupied and vacant room.

A not so canon view on Hawkeye's visit to hospital:
Nurse: 'Mr. Havoc, you have a visitor. Elisabeth's here.'
Havoc: 'Elisabeth?! Gimme a second!'
*stomp* *stomp* *stomp* *thud*
Havoc: 'Okay! You may come in!'

I don't like the poster. It makes all the women look like... like they're trying too much to be sexy, which doesn't fit Riza or Winry very much. I like Ed's expression though (OK, not roiai comment)

---

On a completely different note, I've been thinking lately about Arakawa-sensei's custom to foreshadow future events. Riza had a breakdown believing Roy was dead. After that Roy reprimanded her and instructed her to stay calm no matter what. Prediction of a future situation or am I just being crazy and nat patient enough in waiting for the next chapter?

Well, that actually played a pretty important role, already, hasn't it? During the whole Envy dilemma. That's exactly what Roy meant back then: you have to stay focus at all times to prevent me for doing something I'll regret. I don't think she'll have to pass through YET another 'will test': having to stop Roy was supposed to be like the biggest climax in their 'story'. And it, indeed, was a HUGE climax.

Aighhh, I haven't posted in awhile. Since I had "so much homework" [aka procrastinate till the last minute].

@hand-made-city; I think I saw that poster somewhere before. Not sure where. Anyhow, the picture was 100% fanservice. I'd hate to say this, but it makes Riza [and Winry] look like... like... well, you guys know.

Side story to Military Training plz. [I'd love to see what Olivier does to her soldiers. >D] I don't think the anime/manga ever went into the subject before, so I've been curious as to what happens behind the scenes. Unless it's like that Chibi Party OVA where everyone's actually an actor lolololol-is shot-.

@Forsaken Love; I know! However if I can get a high quality image I can make my dad print it for me since he's a photographer and sometimes prints HUGE pictures for customers. I dunno if he'd actually do it for me though. tongue.gif Then again, I never wanted a poster before because my family would ALWAYS pick on what I like. Which is really, really annoying.

@jacksparrow589; Poster is indeed scary.

@SneakyRuler; Perhaps Riza just knew Roy was there since, after all, this is a Royai thread. If something bad happened to him, didn't Riza somehow know about it magically?

@Turdaewen; If that's a climax, I want more climaxes. biggrin.gif

I wonder.... That would be interesting. Are you saying that you think that Riza will think that Roy is dead again but will carry on regardless? Because I think that would be an interesting move, especially in terms of foreshadowing. But when I read this comment, I thought that maybe it could be turned the other way around. If somehow the Homunculi get a hold of Riza and Roy doesn't know what happened to her he may freak out and act irrationally. And then at the end of things, they both would have survived and Riza would scold him.... Aahh... Maybe it's a bit too fanfictiony.

But I don't think that the climax of Roy and Riza's story has happened yet. I mean that might have been it, but at this point, anything can happen. And Arakawa is bound to surprise us with something still. biggrin.gif

I like the way you think The_Twilight_Trinity! I still think that the climax of Roy and Riza's story has not happened yet. But then again, I always want more.

@Kale thanks for telling me about that store, too bad there is none on the east coast.

I mean in regard of that 'protect me' thing. I don't think Arakawa would give that much more attention to Roy and Riza than all the other characters. I mean, they already a HUGE spotlight very recently, so, I don't think Arakawa would give another once so soon. Which doesn't mean they'll not have their moments, but I don't think it's time to be 'starting' new plots at this point, but wrapping them all up, or the manga will not be finished in time.
