CT's:
- I think I'm growing too fond of Dir en Grey, lol...
- I got struck by genius while listening to Embryo @_@ The song's about suicide, incest, rape, and murder, but since I can't really understand japanese I really got inspired to draw something that might probably be the opposite ^^ go irony.
- GRAAAAH! @_@

I'm finding Modern History to be fun. Oh what a low level I've sunken to...
Even if it sounds horribly nerdy, I think I'm still taking Modern History next year. :'D

@ JackSparrow

I'm in England, and thanks for explaining. I'd always wondered about the gears because of seeing them in two different places in the car (on American TV etc) Our gears are the same, between 4-6 depending on the make (the one I'm learning in has 5). Gear stick is down to my left side (as we drive on the left side of the road). I did a lot better today thankfully, finally begining to master roundabouts, though still being very careful as so may people never indicate so you don't know where they are going.

Still did all the tiny, windy country lanes, but this time, nothing ran out in front of the car.

CT's-

-Still need to see WALL-E

-Going on a day hike today wasn't a total waste... even though the camp we were supposed to hike at had 6 washed out camp sites, and 16 more that couldn't be used. Oh, and they wouldn't let us into the camp anyway, so we hiked probably 2 km there, only to be turned away really nicely.

-Red vs. Blue is weird!

Something seriously tells me that Total Drama Island should either be played later, or put on [adult swim]. Though, it's probably not bad enough to be put on [adult swim], some of the jokes are a little mature. But either way, I'm totally, utterly, completely, in love with it. I wish they would play two new episodes, or one every night instead of once a week.

CTs:
-Finally! Now that I can use the laptop, I don't have to sit in the cold, lonely basement, unless I'm making AMVs or something.
-Ooh! Total Drama Island is playing again! But it's last week's episode D:

CTs

- Gahhh, chair walls are intense. My entire lower body is sore.
- Wow, I can't believe tomorrow's the fourth.
- I feel like I've wasted a lot of my summer.

Current thoughts:

-Anime Expo this weekend...don't feel like spending $25 just to be bombarded by ads.
-Hoping to have some time during this four-day weekend to make some signatures. I hope.
-I'm catching my little brother's cold. Great *coughs*

Pretty much all anime is adverts. Mostly for the manga/game the series is based on, or for merchandise.

Good.

So what's the big deal about Wall.E? I've been under a rock when it comes to movie news so all I know of this is that:
1) I saw a cool statue of Wall.E when I went to see Indy 4
2) It will lead us to the Promised Land.
3) OMG PIXAR!
So what's the big dealio? Isn't it just another Pixar film that won't be as good as Toy Story or Shrek?

I hadn't even heard of Wall.E until someone here mentioned it.

Reports came back today. Getting an under average for P.E (even if a. half of it's theory and b. it's only a bit under average) makes me feel unfit. =D; Everything else was decent, so I know that my "unfit-ness" isn't all for naught.

I can go so far is to say that I've seen the trailer a few times on TV, but I didn't know it was such a looked-forward-to summer movie until the enthusiasm for it erupted here. mellow.gif

My sister saw it a few days ago. It doesn't sound like something I'd pay to watch in a theater. But that's just me.

--------------

Semi-impromptu family party tomorrow night, in celebration of the fireworks show that's very nicely visible from my house. "Semi-impromptu" because no one organized it, and it only happened because one cousin asked if he and some other cousins could come over...with food. Can't really say it's fully-impromptu, since we had a day's warning.

It'll be fun. =)

See, it's unique in the fact that it has a rather dark center when you get past the cutesy robots. Essentially mankind has polluted the earth, making them flee onto a 700+ year space cruise in which technology does all the work for them, making them become fat blobs of their former selves. So essentially, the message, which is impossible to ignore, but not preachy in any way, shows us what society...is essentially headed towards. Pixar films have been kid movies adults can enjoy...but WALL-E kinda reverses that, making an adult film kids can enjoy.

Or the simple-minded people can ignore all that and focus on the CUTE WIDDLE WOBOTS IN WUV! Either way works fine, really.

If it's for America then shouldn't you be blowing up a Bald Eagle?
