Michiyo-: THANKS! smile.gif blush.gif

This is actually my first Royai day too. smile.gif

I was browsing through fan fics on Royai then I saw a fan fic and it says "made for royai day"

Then I was like "There's such a thing? There's Royai day?! When?!! When?!!!"
Then I came across the date (June 11) when I got to this forum.... laugh.gif

But does anyone here knows why it's on June 11? Just wondering..... huh.gif

^ Youíre welcome.

I first read about Royai Day on this thread, maybe last year, when I wasnít part of this community yet.
Iím sure this yearís festival will be very big, with lots of goodies for everyone. ^^

I think the Royai fans just simply chose a day to celebrate Royai, and it was June 11th.

My first Royai day as well (looks like this forum is full of newbies...), got into FMA this summer (August I think?). First I watched the anime. Loved it immediately and especially non-alchemist part of it... don't know why, probably because compaired to the state alchemist and homunculi and all that weird stuff it's amazing there were still normal people who tried their best (like Hughes or Hawkeye)....
Anyway, have a lot of stuff to do in school and work so I guess I will only cheer up for everybody who's skilled and talented and not-as-lazy-as-me to come up with anything!

-----
I really hope I won't forget about Royai day... forgot Towel Day this year... what a shame ohmy.gif

I also can't wait for 'the Barry the Chopper thing' and to see Ishbal animated. Ishbal is one of my favourite arc's in the manga.

This is my third Royai Day- the first year I went round wishing all my friends Happy Royai Day... and none of them had a clue what I was on about. They do now!

Wow.. third Royai day! You're a veteran compared to a lot of us! laugh.gif

I still can't choose my favorite Royai moment... there's so many good ones... but I did like the Ishbal arc a lot. I especially liked the part where Roy notices that Riza's eyes have changed into the eyes of a killer, just like the rest of them. He seemed so upset when he found out that Riza had joined the military too. I wonder if she hadn't joined the military, if he would still go to the Hawkeye house to visit her after the war...

If Riza still lived in the house, I would think so though I'd guess that she moved after her father died. Most likely if Riza was working elsewhere, then Roy would probably try to find her.

If she ever got to coax out what happened during the war from him, Riza would probably still ask him to burn her back so that no one would willingly do what he was forced to do during the war.

I'm another newbie (obviously, if you noticed my previous post asking when Royai day was tongue.gif). I started reading FMA in February, but I'm not quite sure when I became a Royai fan. I noticed EdWin first actually...Royai came to me around the Ishbal war flashback I think. Anyway, another classic moment is when Riza trips Roy in the Scar fight laugh.gif.

Oh, and the part where they go to Rizenbool to look for Ed and Al and Riza says that she's in the military because she has to protect someone, is she referring to Roy?

Wouldn't a great Royai Day theme be the entire History of Royai from Riza Father's Death to the episode of " Pure Tears " in Chap 95 ( i think ) lol

idk just a thought XD biggrin.gif Happy Royai Day

Yep. They made the pact to watch each other's backs (Riza, at her father's grave before the war & Roy, shortly after selecting his team when he was made Lt. Colonel after the war) as Roy makes his way to become Fuhrer.

@angelstar2408 - nice job ^^ that is very cute.

I've finally managed to make some progress on my contribution biggrin.gif although it resulted in me staying awake obscenely late last night...or more accurately very early this morning laugh.gif and now I'm going to go read back over it and if something that seemed like a good idea at 3am is actually a good idea XD

I feel your pain... sometimes I end up staying up til 5am working on fanart or stories or just doing absolutely nothing productive. DX

When I wake up, whatever it was I was doing last night suddenly seems OFF in a way. hahaha! Usually with my fanart. I don't color in the lines when I'm up that late. bzzz bad bad. XD

Lol yeah, I usually find a bunch of typos and incoherent sentences...and little pieces of dialogue or description that just make me wonder why I ever thought that would be a good idea and how tired I was while I was writing it laugh.gif

But I like staying up late to work on things like that, I usually am less inhibited because I'm not thinking completely straight ahaha.

I'd say that my problem is that all my good ideas come from my dreams but come morning - I can't remember anything, but at night is when everything comes back when I'm tired.

Hence why I'll leave TextPad open on my desktop...but it's usually blank.

Yes, the same happens to me! All the inspiration comes at night! Usually right after I turn off my computer though... so then I have to scramble for a notebook before I lose it (which I usually do.) Ahhh inspiration. So fleeting!

I just keep a notepad and pen next to my bed...usually I'll have good ideas right before I fall asleep and am like "oh I'll remember it in the morning"...but does that ever happen? No lol. Hence the paper. I've only gotten one interesting idea from a dream, and I have yet to start writing that...although, I kind of really want to right now...
