If Funimation has licensed it, maybe we'll have it soon in Europe too (I mean in French), even if I didn't really like the anime (well ok just the ending) tongue.gif But thanks for the cover, Pierrot.

^We could get it in Europe since it's a short series...but I'm too impatient to wait for such a release, haha...And yeah, I agree that the ending was a little...strange.

@A Pierrot's Aria I've been interested in watching Hero Tales for some times now. Anything by Arakawa interests me ^__^ I'm just wondering. Is it good?

^I personally really love the anime, (happens a bit differently than in the manga, but we're used to that sort of thing, right? tongue.gif I think an accurate description of the two would be that they're "the same but different". xD) but you should also definitely read the manga; it's a great series. You should definitely check it out and see what you think! happy.gif

Not a lot of people seem to like the Hero Tales anime, but I thought I'd share some pics of the English dub set anyway. I actually got this in April, but I've only just managed to get access to a camera again, and I thought that since I was taking photos of a different set, I may as well take photos of this one for anyone who may be interested in what it looks like. happy.gif

Cover of the limited edition box which houses both sets 1 and 2:

Back Cover of the limited edition box which houses both sets 1 and 2:

Covers of the two DVD cases within set 1:

Inside case 1 [The one with Taito on the cover] (Has two discs inside with episodes 1-13)

Inside case 2 [The one with Hosei on the cover] (Has one disc with extras inc. textless OPs/EDs and something called "Star Battle: Special Round Table" parts 1 and 2. I have NO idea what that is --I usually ignore extras so I haven't watched them! xD)

Slip cover for set 2:

Covers of the two DVD cases within set 2:

Inside case 1 [The one with Taiga on the cover] (Has two discs inside with episodes 14-26)

Inside case 2 [The one with Shokaku on the cover] (Has one disc with extras inc. textless OPs/EDs and something called "Star Battle: Special Round Table" part 3, and original trailers and commercials.)
(Sorry about this one...it randomly decided to rotate itself. xD!)

Thanks for posting the pics, A Pierrot's Aria, the limited edition boxes look great, and I really like the postcards! happy.gif

I still prefer the manga to the anime, but I enjoyed that too.
