Well, I searched the forums and I can't find a topic specific to Zolf. J Kimbley so I figured I'd make one happy.gif The Crimson Alchemist is definitely one of my favorite characters, anyone else like him?

I agree! One of the coolest moments in all the series (not including ep. 51, have not seen it yet) is when Kimbley says" hmmm, looks like I need a little more sulfer!", then grabs some anonymous soldier, slams him against the building, and uses the sulfur in the poor fellows body to blow a whole in the wall. He has other good moments, but thats his best. That episode was on again monday night, I watched it all the way through pretty much for just that one part.

(wow, talk about a run-on sentence, but it's late so we'll let it slide)

Not including the homunculi, Kimbley has got to be the coolest bad guy. I agree with strong_arm1, too. That is an awsome line.

Good old Zolfy, he is the best bad guy. Well until Fullmetal Archer came along. But aside from that.

He's got the best alchemy and hey, the best hair too. Gotta love him! He's one of the reasons I got into FMA, to bad the first episode I saw him in was when he kicks the bucket. I agree with strong_arm1 that is a great line and part from Kimblee. Sulfur. biggrin.gif

Kimblee... cool.gif

I have a small obsession with him... mostly because the ay i sarted watching FMA was when a friend called me and says "Turn on Cartoon network, I found a guy just like you"

I turn it on, and Kimmie is using a fellow prisoner to blow out of that red cell thing.

This amused me, since I am the only person in our neighborhood to attempt to use bottle rockets to power skates... So imediatly I was in love.

Has anyone else noticed that Kimblee and Hughes look very alike?

--------------------
No, I'm not obsessed...

yeah that IS a plushie of Zolf Kimblee in a shrine...

But I'm NOT obsessed.

Wow, it's about time hegot his own thread. I find it slightly depressing that Frankie's had his own thread, and we're just getting one for Kimbley.

I've always liked the line, "You tricky little bastard!" more than anything else.

I did. They've got the same eyes and face shape. Maybe they were seperated at birth?

Aaaah, yes, Kimblee, always had a thing for psycho guys like him. And even if he does look like Archer a bit, I personally think he's way more good-looking than him.

He was totally awesome in the OAV but, weirdly, I would have liked him to be on the homunculi's side. It would have suited him better. A little Greed/Kimblee reunion would have done the trick too.

I don't see why people think Hughes and Greed look so much alike. I didn't think about this at all when I first saw Greed (Mew, they don't even have the same pair of glasses). Once someone brought the idea of Greed!Hughes, which I still think is ridiculous.

But anyway, OT, sorry.

Moving on, I'm not a big fan of Kimbley. Those his alchemic abilities are really, really cool.

Greed and Hughes? Sorry, I'm just not seeing it. But Hughes and Zolf look quite a bit alike. I'm telling you, they have the exact same eyes.

I need to find a new, non-Kimbley obsession. I almost got arrested yesterday for blowing up a taco on my neighbor's garage...

I love the Crimson alchemist! He is so cool! Once I drew the transmutation circles on my hands just like he has and went to school forgeting all about it. My friend pointed it out when I waved high to her. We made a big joke about it like saying, "Want a high-five?" (High-five...like I'll blow you up....haha?)
